Submersible sewage pump is a type of pump product that is connected to a motor and works underwater at the same time. Submersible sewage pump has been increasingly valued and used in a wider range, from simply transporting clean water to now being able to transport various types of domestic sewage, industrial wastewater, construction site drainage, liquid feed, and so on. It plays a very important role in various industries such as municipal engineering, industry, hospitals, construction, restaurants, and water conservancy construction.
Maintenance is an important task in improving the stability, accuracy, and lifespan of testing instruments. It is also an important task to effectively prevent malfunctions. For the maintenance of submersible sewage pumps, we need to do the following:
1. Replace the sealing ring: After long-term use in sewage medium, the gap between the impeller and the sealing ring may increase, causing a decrease in the flow rate and efficiency of the water pump. The submersible axial flow pump should be turned off, the power switch should be turned off, the water pump should be lifted, the bottom cover should be removed, the sealing ring should be removed, and the sealing ring should be matched according to the actual size of the impeller mouth ring. The gap is generally around 0.5mm.
2. When the submersible sewage pump is not used for a long time, it should be cleaned and lifted in a ventilated and dry place, and attention should be paid to antifreeze. If placed in water, run for at least 30 minutes every 15 days (without dry grinding) to check its functionality and adaptability.
3. The cable should be inspected at least once a year, and if it is damaged, it should be replaced.
4. Check the motor insulation and fastening screws at least once a year. If the motor insulation decreases, please have a dedicated person repair it. If the fastening screws become loose, please tighten them again.
5. The submersible sewage pump has been injected with an appropriate amount of engine oil before leaving the factory to lubricate the mechanical seal. The engine oil should be checked once a year. If water is found in the oil of the submersible axial flow pump, it should be drained, the oil should be replaced, the sealing gasket should be replaced, and the screw plug should be tightened. After three weeks, it is necessary to recheck. If the oil becomes emulsified again, the mechanical seal should be inspected and replaced if necessary.
After a malfunction occurs in the operation of the submersible sewage pump, please follow the provided troubleshooting methods to eliminate it. If the problem still cannot be solved and the cause cannot be determined, do not dismantle or repair it without authorization, and immediately find a dedicated person to repair it.
