CDL/CDLF is a non self suction vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump with a standard motor installed. The motor shaft is directly connected to the pump shaft through a coupling at the pump head. The pressure resistant cylinder and overcurrent components are fixed between the pump head and the inlet and outlet sections with tension rod bolts. The pump inlet and outlet are on the same straight line at the pump bottom; This pump can be equipped with an intelligent protector as needed to effectively protect against dry running, phase loss, overload, and other issues.

Small import pressure NPSH

If the pressure in the pump is lower than the vaporization pressure of the conveyed liquid, cavitation may occur. To avoid cavitation, ensure that there is a small pressure on the inlet side of the pump, and the large suction stroke H [m] can be calculated according to the following formula:

H=Pb×10.2-NPSH-Hf-Hv-Hs

Pb=atmospheric pressure [bar]

(Atmospheric pressure can be set to 1 bar)

In a closed system, Pb is the system pressure [bar]

NPSH=Net Positive Suction Head [m]

(Can be read from the possible high flow points of the pump on the NPSH curve)

Hf=inlet pipeline loss [m]

Hv=vaporization pressure [m]

Hs=safety margin=0.5m head less

If the calculated value of H is positive, the pump can operate with a large suction range of H. If the calculated value of H is negative, there must be a water head with a small inlet pressure of H.
